The youth empowerment program envisioned by GDEAP is designed to lift the youths at the grassroots to acceptable level and equip them with the practical ability to support themselves economically, politically and socially. It engages them with authority to break through societal challenges by finding a medium through which they can improve on their lives and the lives of others including adults and the ageing population. This programs seeks to develop a different implementation procedure whereby the youths are not only struggling to impact change in the nearest future for themselves at the demise of the rest of the population, but are empowered to empower others and bring about change today in in different context, including that of seeing the adults and elderly as part of the change process which they hope to implement. Special emphasis is placed on lifting the spirits of the underprivileged youth in at the grassroots. Through community youth empowerment program, we hope to reach out to many grassroots youth of different standing and make more valuable members of their communities.

This program offers leadership training and related program activities that aim to improve the lot of youths as students and youths in all other works of life. Our ultimate goal is to assist the youth of our country to become future national leaders, and a touch of Africa.

To realize this, GDEAP needs to work with both the youths and senior members of the community to strengthen their position. This is to ensure continuity amidst reforms.
