Grassroots Development and Empowerment Action Platform (GDEAP) has a simple mission. It aims to develop the social, economic, civic and intellectual well-being of youths, women and the elderly in grassroots communities in Cameroon. We try to identify the problems that grassroots communities are facing, promote better engagement and join hands together with all actors in these communities to come up with more innovative approaches that will bring about needed change.

Grassroots Development and Empowerment Action Platform views children and youth at the grassroots as an important resource that needs that promotion and empowerment. The mission of Grassroots Development and Empowerment Action Platform is to find and also implement solutions for our youth and women that are sustainable and to focus on empowering them in any way that we can. We are a non-profit /non-partisan organization that has dedicated itself to the empowerment of young men and women in our country at the grassroots level.

Our mission is to also discover the needs of grassroots community through the eyes of the community members and to introduce basic and successful models that will enable the communities to help themselves. We know that our youth are the future of our communities. This is why we have made it our mission to provide this youth with the best ideas that can turn into opportunities. We are aware that the youth needs to be given a chance to live to their full potential and that they should also be able to fulfill their rights and aspirations.
